CAPS Certified Aging In Place Specialist The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS): The program was designed by the National Association of Home Builders in collaboration with the AARP. The program was designed to address the needs of consumers who want to make their house their home for a lifetime - regardless of one's age, or functional abilities.

Since 1991, EHLS has been dedicated to helping people maintain their lifestyle -- in the home they love. EHLS is CAPS certified. The Certified Aging in Place Specialist program was designed by the National Association of Home Builders in collaboration with the AARP. CAPS professionals have been taught the strategies and techniques for designing and building aesthetically pleasing, barrier-free living environments.
