People/Staff: The dedicated staff at Extended Home Living Services’ takes pride in the help and service we provide in the community. Our experienced staff, many of whom have been with the business for years, understand the challenges our customers face.

Our Accessibility Consultants will provide a free in-home assessment and work to develop the best solution available. The Construction Team will obtain the required local permits and manage the installation and construction, as well as provide training on how to use the new equipment and ensure your satisfaction with the finished project.

Our Service Team is available, if needed, to ensure that your equipment remains in good working order. The EHLS team is here to serve you!


Elizabeth and Stephen (Owners) and Allan Browne (Founder): Since its founding in 1991, EHLS has grown to a full-time staff of 18 professionals, plus construction trades-people, who together do over 800 accessibility projects a year, making EHLS one of the largest and most respected businesses of its kind in the United States.

EHLS partners with the leading manufacturers of accessibility equipment to provide our customers unbiased advice on the best solution for their accessibility needs. EHLS is the primary contractor for The City of Chicago’s HomeMod Program sponsored by the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities. EHLS also works closely with local caregiver organizations and rehabilitation hospitals to support their patients as they return home.
