National Grants: EHLS was the recipient of two Small Business Innovation Grants from the National Institute on Aging. EHLS used the grants to develop the Comprehensive Assessment Survey Protocol for Elderly Residents (CASPAR). CASPAR was developed to enable practitioners to identify a client’s “Aging in Place Needs”, by collecting the types of information that can be used by knowledgeable building professionals and occupational therapists to specify the right modifications. Today, CASPAR is used by professionals across the country.
