Child with wheelchair to bed Transfer
This is a classic application of ceiling mounted lift technology with tracking running in the ceiling from the wheelchair to the bed enabling a lateral transfer that is both safe for the child and the caregiver.
Continuous Track through the Doorway
A tracking system can be as simple as a single piece of track over a bed or as complex as this example, which includes a turntable, effectively creating an intersection allowing the user to change directions
Single Continuous Track
Ceiling mounted lift tracking can be continuous and allows for non-stop travel between rooms.  This picture shows how we modified a doorway for a continuous track system
Transfer to Toilet
Tracking systems can aid a person and caregiver/attendant with transferring from a wheelchair to a toilet. A variety of sling systems are available to meet individual customer needs to help with transferring, toileting and bathing. Slings with head support are also available.
Tub Transfer
Tracking is often utilized in the bathroom to assist with the transfer to the tub or shower, preserving the endurance of both the user and the attendant.
PC 2 Portable Unit
This is a portable unit that can be used with multiple track locations. The unit can be easily taken off the track, carried to another and reattached, eliminating the need to purchase more than one unit.
PC 4 Permanent Unit
The lift travels along the track it is mounted on and travels the length of the room on the two parallel tracks, providing complete access!
PC 2 Installation of a Cathedral Ceiling
Tracking systems can be mounted anywhere, including this type of application, which was designed to meet the unique specifications of this particular home that had a cathedral ceiling. The overall aesthetics of the room can be preserved as shown in this picture with a vaulted ceiling.
A Happy Customer
This gentleman is sitting pretty in his favorite recliner chair, having used his portable ceiling mounted lift to get him there! This home contains three ceiling mounted lift units, which are used in negotiating multiple rooms, including the bedroom, bathroom and living room. Note the sign on the wall over the bookcase that says, “Carpe Diem,” or seize the day!
