A Stairlift, also called a Chairlift, is a lift that that travels on a track along the edge of a staircase. Because stairlifts carry riders over the existing stairs – they are very easy to install and don’t interfere with regular use of the stairs. Stairlifts/Chairlifts are a GREAT way to make stairs safe and easy

Straight Stairlifts: Because the majority of staircases are straight – the industry standard is straight with the following features:

Battery Powered: Most chairlifts are battery powered to ensure that the lift will still work in the power outage. The lift is plugged to a standard outlet and trickle charges the batteries when the lift is not in use. The batteries will support 25+ round trips without a problem before being re-charged.
Track: Lifts typically come with 16 feet of track which is plenty for a standard staircase. Longer track is available for taller staircases.
Installation: A stairlift can be installed quickly and easily without any changes to your home. The lift track is supported entirely by the treads of the stairs and does not touch adjacent walls. Our experienced, factory trained technicians can usually complete an installation in an afternoon.
Outdoor Stairlift to Get Inside House Curved Stairlifts: More complex stairways – with landings and curved stairs - can be fitted with a custom-made curved stairlift. A curved stairlift will be precisely measured and when installed will fit the stairs like a glove. Curved chairlifts are more costly than a straight stairlift because they are custom-made – but are still far less expensive than the alternatives of moving or putting a first floor addition on a house.

Indoors/Outdoors: Chairlifts are also designed and manufactured for outdoor staircases. Outdoor chairlifts are designed with marine components to function in inclement weather.
