Stairlifts – Will it Fit?

Stair Lifts Fit Most Staircases

A staircase needs to be a minimum of 32″ wide to fit a stairlift. The track is mounted on the stair treads and will extend out from the wall between 6 to 9 inches.

The Chairlift’s seat, arms and footrest will fold-up when the lift is not in use. Folded-up, stairlifts will extend from 11in to 16in away from the wall

Folding Rail: Stairlift track does extend beyond the bottom of the staircase, which in some cases can be a problem. A manual or electric folding rail will allow the track to fold-up and out of the way when the stairlift is not in use.

Testimonials

I would like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Mike Silverstein who was instrumental in our getting a chair lift. My husband is a veteran and because of Mike’s information we contacted the VA. Our request was granted. After three companies took measurements, I was pleased to have EHLS do the work. the chair lift has been a great help to both my husband and me. Mike was informative and extremely helpful – in fact everyone that I have spoken to at EHLS has been helpful. Again, thank you!

Jeanne just had her Bruno Elan installed by Ken. She loves it! Should have done it some time ago. She was so happy with Ken’s install. We will be recommending EHLS to her doctor, friends, and others. Thank you!

I love the stairlift and am glad I can get around my home again. The installer and sales people were especially nice and informative.
